If the holidays brought several new items into your household, you're probably looking to make some room. ENN's 21 Things You Didn't Know You Can Recycle reminds us that more than just food containers are recyclable.

It's a thought-provoking list, but there are easier ways to recycle some of the items they mention. For example, the Bainbridge Island Vincent Road Transfer Station recycles CFC light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and batteries (both alkaline and rechargeable), as does the Poulsbo Recycle Center.

And for those really hard to recycle items, you might think about joining Freecycle Bainbridge Island, which is a site for advertising free, unwanted household items.
